DoorDash Delivered Half My Order and the Driver Ignored Me. Here's How I Got a Full Refund.

I ordered $45 worth of Thai food on DoorDash. Half the items were missing. The driver was not responding. I contacted DoorDash support through the app. The first agent offered a $5 credit. I said no. The second agent offered $10. I said no. The third agent offered a $15 credit.

I opened a new chat and asked for a supervisor. I explained that I paid $45 and received maybe $20 worth of food. The supervisor reviewed the order and the driver tracking data, which showed the driver was at my location for less than two minutes. She agreed that the driver likely did not deliver everything. She issued a full refund of $45 plus a $10 credit for the inconvenience.

DoorDash support has a script. They start with small credits and work up. Do not accept the first offer. If you are persistent, they will eventually give you a full refund.

Always take photos of what you received before opening anything. This helps your case if the merchant disputes your claim.
