How to Write an Apple Refund Request When You Are Outside the 14-Day Window
Apple's 14-day refund window is not a hard deadline. I have gotten refunds 60 days after purchase. Here is the secret. Do not use the standard reportaproblem.apple.com page. Instead, call Apple support directly and ask to speak with the App Store Content team. This team handles exceptions. When writing your request, focus on one thing: the app was misrepresented or defective. If you say "I changed my mind" you will be rejected. If you say "The app description promised [feature] but that feature does not exist," you will be escalated. Apple does not want apps on their store that mislead customers. If you can prove an app is misleading, they will refund you even months later. I have done this three times successfully.
