Cash App Refund Email That Actually Works. I Tested 5 Approaches.
Cash App has zero purchase protection for authorized payments. I tested 5 different approaches. Only one worked. Approach that worked: I contacted my BANK instead of Cash App. I filed a dispute with Chase and said: "I used Cash App to pay for a service that was not delivered. The merchant is unresponsive." Chase reversed the charge under their dispute policy. Cash App then locked my account until I resolved the dispute with Chase. I sent Cash App the dispute documentation from Chase, and they unlocked my account. The net result: I got my $150 back through my bank, not through Cash App. The lesson: never rely on Cash App's built-in dispute system. Go directly to your bank or credit card issuer. They have stronger consumer protection.
