Google Ads Overcharge Refund Email That Got Me $500 Credit

Google Ads charged me $500 more than my daily budget should have allowed. I contacted Google Ads support with this email and got a credit. Subject: Billing Adjustment Request - Customer ID [Number]. Body: Hello Google Ads Team, My account was charged $[Amount] on [Date] which exceeds my daily budget of $[Amount]. This appears to be a billing system error. I request a manual credit adjustment for the overcharged amount. I have attached my billing statement showing the charges. Google's billing team reviewed my account and confirmed the overcharge was due to a system glitch. They credited $500 to my account. Google Ads has a billing adjustment policy for system errors. If you can demonstrate that charges exceeded your settings due to a system error, they will issue a credit. Make sure your budget settings are reasonable.
