How to Write a Patreon Refund Request When a Creator Scams You

A Patreon creator I supported stopped delivering content for 4 months but kept charging me. Here is how I got refunded. I contacted Patreon support directly, not the creator. I wrote: "I have been charged $[Amount] for [Number] months for a creator who has not posted content since [Date]. I believe this constitutes a violation of Patreon's terms of service regarding inactive creators. I request a refund for all charges after the last post date." Patreon investigated and confirmed the creator had not posted. They refunded my charges for the months after the last post. The creator was given a warning. Patreon's terms require creators to be actively creating. If a creator stops delivering and keeps charging, Patreon will step in. But you have to report it.
