My LG TV Had Dead Pixels on Day 1. LG Wanted to Repair It. I Wanted a Refund.

My new LG TV had three dead pixels. LG said this was within their acceptable range (they allow up to 5). I argued that for a $1,200 TV, zero dead pixels is the standard. The retailer accepted the return instead.
