Why You Should Send Refund Emails on Holidays. I Got Approved on Christmas Eve.
I sent a refund email on Christmas Eve when most people were off work. I assumed no one would read it until January. But someone did. A support agent working the holiday shift was bored. They had fewer tickets to process. My refund request was approved within an hour. The agent even added a note: "Happy Holidays!" I learned that holiday shifts are staffed by skeleton crews with fewer tickets. Your refund request might be one of only a few they process that day. It gets more attention and faster approval. I have since tested this with Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve. Both times, the refund was processed faster than average. The theory: holiday agents have more time per ticket and are in a better mood. Send your refund emails on holidays for better results.
