Why 10 Separate Attachments Hurt Your Refund Request. One PDF Works Better.
I sent 12 separate attachments with my refund email: 5 photos, 3 screenshots, 2 PDFs, a video link, and my receipt. The support agent replied: "I am having trouble opening your attachments. Can you resend?" I resent. They replied: "Which attachment shows the defect?" My evidence was disorganized. I learned that multiple attachments confuse agents. Now I compile everything into a single PDF with labeled pages. Page 1: Receipt. Page 2: Photo of defect. Page 3: Screenshot of listing. Page 4: Screenshot of communication with seller. I label each page. I write in the email: "Please see the attached PDF with all evidence organized by page." This makes it easy for the agent. Easy = fast = approval. Since switching to single PDFs, my refund processing time has dropped from weeks to days.
