Amazon A-to-Z Claim Email Template That Got Me $500

Amazon's A-to-Z Guarantee requires a formal claim. Here is the email template I used to get $500 back from a third-party seller who sent me a fake product.

Subject: A-to-Z Guarantee Claim - Order #[Number]

Body: Dear Amazon A-to-Z Team, I am filing a claim under the A-to-Z Guarantee for order #[Number]. The item I received was not as described. I ordered [Product] which was listed as [description]. Instead, I received [actual item]. I contacted the seller on [Date] and requested a refund. The seller offered a partial refund of $[Amount], which I declined. The seller has since stopped responding. Evidence attached includes screenshots of the listing, photos of the item received, and my communication with the seller. I request a full refund of $[Amount] including the original shipping cost.

Amazon's A-to-Z team processes claims quickly when the evidence is clear. The most important part is showing that you tried to resolve with the seller first. Without that step, your claim gets denied.
