I Sent Delta a Refund Request Written as a Movie Script. They Paid Me.

Delta delayed my flight by 14 hours. Instead of a boring complaint, I wrote it as a screenplay: "SCENE 1: INT. AIRPORT TERMINAL - NIGHT. A weary traveler (ME) stares at the departure board. FLIGHT 1234: DELAYED. 2 HOURS LATER: DELAYED. 6 HOURS LATER: CANCELLED. FADE TO BLACK. SCENE 2: INT. CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE - DAWN. Our hero has been standing in line for 4 hours. He has not slept. He has not eaten. His spirit is broken. CLOSE UP on the Delta agent's sign: "WE ARE SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE." THE END." A Delta supervisor emailed me back saying my request was forwarded to their executive team as "the most creative complaint of the month." I received a $400 check two weeks later.
